Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Audit
We carry out occupational safety and health (OSH) audits and risk assessments as per Section 6 (3) (risk assessments) and Section 11 (safety and health audits) Occupational Safety and Health Act 2007 (OSHA).
A full compliance monitoring occupational safety and health audit of a workplace includes:
- The OSH advisor carries out a physical inspection the workplace to check compliance with The Factories (Safety and Health Committees) Rules, Legal Notice no. 31 of 2004 and The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 2007 and records the relevant information on the audit form.
- The OSH advisor records compliance levels against the relevant legislative requirements e.g.

- Personal protective equipment (PPE)

- The OSH advisor provides additional on-site education and advice as necessary.
- The OSH advisor checks by observation and communication (look, listen for evidence, talk to staff) and identifies and address any deficiencies in the areas selected for audit.
- The OSH advisor prepares the occupational safety and health audit report and submits it to Directorate Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS) on behalf of the client.
